Newspaper gets hip with video
The Roanoke Times has launched a daily video webcast/podcast with a slick presentation and a young host who looks remarkably similar to MTV's Gideon Yago. Powered by PopView, the video player synchronizes Flash content with the video, previewing upcoming stories in an adjacent window. While the "TimesCast" is far from perfect (the weather guy is... well, non-traditional), kudos to the newspaper for pushing the envelope...
