Intel-powered Technology and Functionality to be Showcased at the Outside Lands CrowdFire Pavilion
SAUSALITO, Calif., August 14, 2008 – Federated Media Publishing (FM) today announced that Intel Corporation has signed on as the exclusive processor sponsor for CrowdFire at Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival. CrowdFire is an online community destination at www.crowdfire.net as well as a technology and entertainment pavilion at the Outside Lands festival. In addition to Intel-sponsored activities online at www.crowdfire.net, Intel-powered technology will also be showcased within the CrowdFire pavilion.

CrowdFire at Outside Lands is a technology and entertainment pavilion in which Intel has made possible a collection of tech and music-focused activities for concertgoers. Inside the pavilion, Intel will provide a video game lounge where fans can play and observe Guitar Hero III contests, and a video game recording area to record their performances.
Each performance will then be entered into the ‘Your Rockstar Moment’ contest at www.crowdfire.net. Users will vote on the best game/performance and the winners will be announced on September 5, 2008. The Winner will receive two free tickets to Outside Lands 2009 and an Intel-powered laptop computer.
