Check out Dell’s Digital Nomads

Dell recently launched Digital Nomads in partnership with FM sites like Duct Tape Marketing, Dumb Little Man and MAKE Magazine, to name a few. Digital Nomads aims to create a home for the modern nomadic laptop warrior:

Inside the Outside Lands Festival

We realize not everyone can attend the Outside Lands festival currently going on in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, so we’re bringing a little taste of it here to you. Xeni Xardin of Boing Boing TV interviewed one of the festivals creators, Rick Farman, who gives a great background to the festival and to the creation of Crowdfire:

Graffiti Artists Add Fuel to the Crowdfire

Thousands of Graffiti artists on Facebook submitted art for the latest drawing contest supporting Crowdfire. Once again, we’re awestruck by the level of talent out there and what is possible with a small digital canvas and a mouse. The CrowdFire is ablaze

Some very cool new features were added CrowdFire this week. See here for the press release. You can now Remix your videos, photos and audio into original mashups. Get in on a contest to win Outside Lands tickets and an Intel-powered laptop. You’ll also be able to keep up-to-date with mobile features, and you’ll soon be able to check it all out live on your desktop.

FM on the move

That’s right. After two years in our beloved Sausalito office, FM’s west coast team is making the move across the bay to San Francisco.
