The Sixth Federated Media Conversational Marketing Summit Agenda and Speaker Line-Up Confirmed

Intimate Conversations with Brand Visionaries from Blackberry, Google, General Motors, Visa, Sony, Twitter and Others Aim to Help Consumers “Find the Signal”

SAN FRANCISCO, May 19, 2011 – Federated Media Publishing, which powers the best of the Independent Web at scale, is proud to announce the confirmed agenda and speaker line-up for the sixth annual Conversational Marketing Summit in New York City. The two-day event will again take place at the Hudson Theater and will focus on helping marketers understand how they can better engage consumers via today’s increasingly fragmented media landscape.

The program, which sells out each year, will feature candid conversations with household brand leaders and announcements from new companies in an effort to provide expert insight on how to better reach intended audiences in an ever-growing sea of noise.

Will.i.am, of the Black Eyed Peas and director of creative innovation for Intel, and superstar chef Rachael Ray add an exciting celebrity twist to the event this year. Both will take part in candid discussions with Federated Media’s John Battelle about their own brands and how they engage their fans.

The event will also feature senior executives from Blackberry, Google, General Motors, Microsoft, Facebook, Pandora, Sony, Visa, Yahoo!, Twitter, Tumblr, Starcom MediaVest Group and Demand Media. Each will provide valuable insights related to how their companies are helping consumers “find a signal” in today’s overwhelming media environment.

“We’ve pulled together what I personally believe is our most exciting and relevant line-up in six years,” John Battelle, executive chairman, Federated Media Publishing. “We can all prepare to be enlightened by the insights that these top brands and innovators will provide.”

Blackberry is the premier sponsor of the series and Google, AT&T, and Quantcast have signed on as diamond sponsors. Additional sponsors include Demand Media, Facebook, Outbrain, Pandora, Pixazza, R2integrated, Slideshare, Yahoo!, AOL, American Express OPEN, BriefLogic, Evidon, Marketing Evolution/Telmar, Mobile Roadie, Spiceworks, Ustream, Balloon; and our partners: IAB, Mashable, ReadWriteWeb, SMAC, TechZulu and paidContent.
